For job seekers

Is Job Elf free for me?

Yes. Job seekers never pay: creating a profile, applying and messaging are free.

Do I have to record a video?

No. The video helps employers meet you, but you can publish your profile without one and add it later. When you do, it’s 15 to 60 seconds: say who you are and what you do best.

What does the AI see?

When you upload a résumé, AI reads it to draft your Job Elf Profile: your experience, education and skills. Nothing goes live until you’ve reviewed it and pressed Publish. The AI never watches your video, looks at your photo, or guesses your age or background.

Can I apply without uploading my résumé every time?

Yes. Once your profile is ready, you apply with your Job Elf Profile in one step. Employers see your experience, your photo and your introduction.

Your visibility

Who can see my profile?

You choose. Public: your profile appears in search. Private: only employers with your direct profile link can see it. Hidden: employers can’t see it. You can change this, or unpublish, at any time.

Who can see my résumé and contact details?

Your original résumé and contact details are only shown to employers who are signed in and have confirmed who they are, never to visitors.

Can my current employer see me here?

If your profile is public, anyone searching can find it. Set it to private or hidden and you disappear from search while keeping everything you’ve entered.

For employers

How do I post a job?

Create a free employer account, confirm your email, and post from Jobs. Jobs from companies we haven’t verified yet are checked by our team before they go live.

Why do we have to be verified?

Because candidates need to know a real employer is behind the message. Verification confirms that before you contact anyone. It isn’t a rating, and candidates aren’t shown it as one.

What does it cost?

Searching for people is free. Paid job posts, subscriptions and candidate credits, and what each costs today, are on the Pricing page.

Can we search before we sign up?

Yes. Anyone can search people by title, skill and location. An account is needed to open résumés, save candidates and get in touch.

Privacy and safety

Does Job Elf analyse faces or voices?

No. Nothing scores a face, a voice, an accent or an expression, and nothing taken from a recording is used to rank anyone. What you say can be turned into captions so people can read along. A person watches the video: that’s the whole point of it.

Are there match percentages?

No. Suggestions come with the reasons behind them, in words. A number like “87% match” looks precise and isn’t, and it invites people to skip the reading.

Someone contacted me in a way that felt wrong. What now?

Use Report on the conversation, profile or job, or contact us. Pushing candidates off Job Elf or misleading them is a reason we block employer accounts.
