COOK/ Kitchen Help

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Job Type: FULL TIME COOK

Shifts Available: 40 hours per week in 8-hour shifts, following a rotating schedule of four days on and two days off. We need someone who is flexible and available all days of the week, with shifts scheduled as either AM (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) or PM (11:00 AM–7:30 PM).

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Key Responsibilities):

· Prepare kitchen and assist with daily food service

· Deliver meal trays and plates to residents

· Retrieves trays at the end of mealtime

· Stock inventory and organize storage areas

· Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment

· Attend staff and in-service meetings

· Perform other duties as assigned

AVAILABILITY THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently looking for someone who is available to work 40 hours per week in 8-hour shifts, following a rotating schedule of four days on and two days off. This rotation would continue on an ongoing basis, so availability on both weekdays and weekends is required. We need someone who is flexible and available all days of the week, with shifts scheduled as either AM (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) or PM (11:00 AM–7:30 PM).

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

· Clearances:   Ability to successfully pass a background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearance.

· Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably handle long periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting.

· Personality: Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled residents, positive attitude and strong team spirit, good verbal communicator.
