About Apiam Animal Health

We are a leading Australian veterinary and animal health business, supporting companion animal, equine, mixed and production animal clients through a network of clinics and animal health operations across the country. Our people live our values of believing in each other, embracing opportunity and growth, celebrating success and leading with integrity.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be a key point of contact for customers, supporting the supply of veterinary medicines and animal health products across Australia. Working closely with teams across Customer Experience, Supply Chain and Operations, you'll manage enquiries, process orders and help deliver outstanding service while supporting the growth of our Melbourne-based team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email and online channels.
  • Manage customer orders and enquiries from request through to resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses and operational teams to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced customer service professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Proven experience in customer service, administration or order processing.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems, coupled with a long-term career mindset.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within veterinary wholesale, animal health or livestock industries.
  • Exposure to inventory, order management or ERP systems.
  • Experience working within regulated or compliance-focused environments.

Travel Requirement **

During the initial onboarding and establishment phase of the role, regular travel to Bendigo will be required. This will provide hands-on training across our systems, processes and compliance requirements before supporting the establishment of these functions within the Melbourne team.
