About the Role:

The Delivery Truck Driver at Mollie Stone's Markets transports and delivers a variety of products needed for the operation of our stores throughout our SF Bay Area locations, including but not limited to: wine, spirits, beer, perishable and non-perishable items such as baked goods and deli products, housewares, equipment, etc. The Driver inspects, maintains, and schedules repairs on truck; maintains records of deliveries and follows efficient travel routes. Routes may change daily and be customized by store needs and/or season of the year. Must be able to work independently and unsupervised at all times.

Essential Functions:

• Transport and deliver wine, spirits and beer 90%-100% of the time
• Transport and deliver other retail goods up to 10% of the time;
• Assist in loading pallets, cases, boxes, and equipment safely;
• Safely secure each load with breaker bars;
• Keep Breakage Log up to date;
• Coordinate with Receiving clerks, Department Managers, Store Managers and other Operational Managers to ensure pick-ups and deliveries are 100% accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the product during loading, transportation and delivery;
• Verify deliveries, checks product in with the Receiver or Department Manager;
• Responsible for safety and maintenance inspection of the vehicle and must report any safety or maintenance issue to Store Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record;
• Minimum of three (3) years of driving professionally;
• Minimum of two (2) years of general retail work experience;
• High School Diploma or equivalent studies;
• Must be able to operate a mechanical liftgate and a hand truck;
• Must be knowledgeable and very comfortable driving around the SF Bay Area.

• Lifting: Up to 50 lbs.
• Standing: Up to 1 hour per day
• Seating: Up to 5 hours per day
• Walking: Up to 2 hours per day
• Kneeling: Up to 1 hour per day
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day
• Pushing/Pulling: Up to 2 hours per day
• Foot Motions: Repetitive foot movement
• Driving: Must have a clean driver record
• Sight: Must be able to see clearly
• Speech: Must be able to communicate clearly
• Hearing: Must be able to hear clearly

Pay rate:

$19.50/hour
