Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT / X‑ray Tech)

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT / X‑ray techs) to support operations at the White River Junction VA Medical Center located at 215 N. Main Street White River Junction, VT 05009. Multiple shift schedules available. Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, portable fluoroscopy, and operating room imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast materials under radiologist direction (e.g., GI studies, venograms, cystograms, arthrography)
• Accurately operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic‑quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Record radiation dose data for fluoroscopy and portable fluoroscopy exams
• Review, validate, and process radiology orders in CPRS/VistA
• Register, complete, cancel, and edit imaging exams in VA systems
• Perform imaging studies according to urgency (STAT, urgent, routine, pre‑op)
• Ensure image quality, repeat/reject analysis, and compliance with departmental quality thresholds
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure images are properly uploaded to PACS
• Follow infection control, sterile technique, radiation safety, and VA safety policies
• Assist radiologists/physicians during procedures and anticipate procedural needs
• Identify patients correctly and ensure proper image labeling and documentation
• Monitor equipment functionality and report malfunctions
• Adjust exam techniques based on patient condition, body habitus, and clinical need

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) 
• Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist experience
• Maintain an active AHA BLS Certification
