Operations Assistant NF-02

This position is located at Fort Campbell Texas Roadhouse. Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. (AR 215-3 2-5). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

• Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
• Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
• Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures. Helps control the guest flow and monitors ticket times. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales by performing table visits.
• Maintains order and harmony. As necessary, seeks assistance from military police, to control unacceptable behavior. Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
• Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resume should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
