Job Title: Senior Health & Safety Specialist
Location: Graniteville, SC
Onsite
Salary: $90,000–$120,000/year + Annual Bonus  
Relocation: Eligible 

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Specialist to lead EHS programs and safety initiatives at a large manufacturing facility supporting 500+ employees. This role will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and leadership to ensure OSHA compliance, reduce workplace risks, and strengthen the site's safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve health & safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage programs including **LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, ergonomics, hot work, and contractor safety.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and leadership.
• Monitor safety metrics, injury trends, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness and regulatory inspections.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS/Safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-production environments.
• Strong knowledge of **OSHA regulations and safety compliance**.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Experience with OSHA recordkeeping and safety training.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work onsite and respond to off-shift safety incidents/emergencies as needed.

Preferred: CSP, ASP, CIH, OHST, or First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
