Surgical Scrub Technician PRN

 .What you’ll do

• Prepare and set up surgical instruments, supplies, sterile solutions, and equipment before procedures
• Maintain a sterile field throughout plastic surgery and elective cosmetic procedures
• Assist plastic surgeons and the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sponges, needles, and sharps
• Perform and document accurate surgical counts, including instruments, sponges, and needles
• Support patient preparation before surgery
• Clean, sterilize, package, and organize surgical instruments after procedures
• Follow aseptic technique, safety protocols, and infection-control standards
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, clinical staff, and aesthetic professionals in a fast-paced surgical setting

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician, Surgical Technologist, Scrub Tech, or Operating Room Technician in a surgical setting
• Experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, outpatient surgery, or multiple surgical specialties preferred
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, surgical instrumentation, and instrument sterilization
• Surgical Scrub Technician certification or completion of a surgical technologist program
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a surgical team
• High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift standard medical, surgical, and aesthetic equipment
• Ability to safely handle needles, sharps, instruments, medical supplies, and inventory
