About the Job
We're hiring an engineer to automate how Slide runs. You'll work across every business line (sales, finance, support, customer success, operations, and people), finding the manual, repetitive, glue-work that each team lives with and engineering it away with integrations, automation, and AI. This is not an IT-support or infrastructure role: IT Operations runs the day-to-day, and a separate systems team owns product infrastructure. Your focus is the business itself, making the whole company run faster and cleaner.
Because so much of modern automation now runs on AI and agents, you'll also be our point person for healthy AI adoption: helping teams use AI well and safely, and building the agentic workflows that take real work off people's plates. You'll report to the CISO, partner with leaders in every department, and have the autonomy to go find the highest-impact problems and solve them.
You’ll join a small, high-trust Security & IT team that favors good tooling over bureaucracy and treats AI as a force multiplier, with direct access to leadership and a real mandate to make the whole company more efficient.
What you'll do
Partner with business leaders to find high-value automation - embed with teams across the company, map how their work actually flows, and prioritize what to automate for the biggest impact.
Build cross-functional automations and integrations - connect the business stack (e.g., HubSpot, Stripe, Rippling, Google Workspace, Jira, support tooling, data tools) so work moves between systems without manual handoffs or copy-paste.
Design and ship AI / agentic workflows - use LLMs and agentic tooling to automate work that used to need a person: summarizing, routing, data entry, reconciliation, drafting, and research - with sensible guardrails.
Drive healthy AI adoption across the company - evaluate, pilot, and roll out AI tools; help teams use them well; and set the guardrails (approved tools, access, and data-handling rules) so people get the upside without creating risk.
Make automations reliable and governed - build in monitoring, error handling, and data-handling review with security, so what you ship is trustworthy infrastructure, not fragile scripts.
Measure and document impact - quantify the hours saved and errors removed, and document what you build so it stays maintainable and others can extend it.
In your first 6 months, you'll
Run a discovery pass across the business lines and publish a prioritized automation backlog with estimated impact.
Ship two or three high-impact automations end to end - e.g., a finance reconciliation, a sales-to-finance handoff, or an AI support-triage workflow.
Roll out AI tooling with clear guardrails and publish a simple, usable AI-use guideline people actually follow.
Stand up a lightweight framework and standards for building, monitoring, and documenting automations so they scale beyond you.
What we're looking for
5+ years building automations and integrations across business systems - in RevOps/BizOps engineering, solutions/automation engineering, or a similar builder role - with a track record of shipping things that saved real teams real time.
Strong integration and scripting skills: APIs and webhooks, an iPaaS platform (Zapier, Make, Workato, or n8n), and real code when it's warranted (Python or JavaScript).
Fluency with the modern SaaS business stack (CRM, billing, HRIS, support, collaboration, data) and a clear mental model of how data should flow between them.
Genuine AI fluency: hands-on building LLM- and agent-powered workflows, with an informed point of view on where AI helps, where it doesn't, and how to use it safely with the right data-handling guardrails.
A consultative, cross-functional style - you can sit with a finance or sales leader, understand their real problem, and translate it into a reliable automation.
A bias to measure impact and document your work, and the judgment to build durable solutions rather than one-off scripts.
Nice to have
You've built AI agents or LLM-powered workflows that ran reliably in production.
RevOps / BizOps automation experience at a SaaS company; familiarity with HubSpot, Stripe, Rippling.
Data and analytics plumbing - SQL, warehouses, and light data engineering.
A security-conscious approach to automating over sensitive business data.

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
