Creative Group Facilitator – Adolescent Mental Health (Art, Music, Yoga & Recreation)

About the Role

We're expanding our creative programming and looking for passionate Group Facilitators to join our village!

At Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA), we help teens ages 13–17 build confidence, express themselves, and develop healthy coping skills through our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs.

We're seeking engaging, compassionate facilitators with backgrounds in art, music, yoga, dance, movement, mindfulness, recreation, or other expressive and experiential activities.

You'll bring creativity and connection into a supportive behavioral health environment, helping adolescents explore new ways to express themselves, manage emotions, and dare to grow.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate creative, recreational, or wellness groups.
• Facilitate activities such as art, music, yoga, dance, movement, mindfulness, or expressive arts.
• Encourage self-expression, emotional regulation, confidence, and healthy coping skills.
• Adapt activities to different abilities, comfort levels, and group dynamics.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where teens feel safe to participate.
• Collaborate with our clinical team and complete timely group documentation.

What You Bring

• Experience facilitating groups, teaching, coaching, or leading creative or wellness activities.
• Background in art instruction, music, yoga, dance, recreational programming, mindfulness, or related disciplines.
• Confidence engaging adolescents and managing group dynamics.
• Strong communication skills, creativity, flexibility, and a people-first approach.
• Consistent availability for weekly or every-other-week on-site groups in Boca Raton.

Preferred: Experience with adolescents, behavioral health, PHP/IOP programs, trauma-informed practices, or therapeutic recreation. Relevant certifications are a plus.
