Hotel Maintenance

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Inspect and repair guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and carpentry issues.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders.
• Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Identify and report safety hazards, building defects, and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with painting, patching, furniture repairs, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Follow hotel safety procedures, emergency protocols, and applicable building codes.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and secure.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front desk, and other hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform maintenance tasks as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed.
