Your New Role

• Service residential heating and cooling systems in Richardson, Texas, and throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area

• Diagnose and repair air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and other residential HVAC equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues to identify the cause of equipment failures

• Complete service calls independently, from initial inspection through final repair and system testing

• Explain system problems, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners

• Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards

• Maintain accurate service documentation and keep your company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized

• Participate in a rotating Saturday on-call schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on residential HVAC service experience required; 2 to 3 years preferred

• Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and cooling systems

• Experience handling residential HVAC service calls from diagnosis through completed repair

• EPA certification required

• Valid driver's license required

• Working knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting procedures

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, manufacturer instructions, and service documentation

• Strong communication and customer service skills when working directly with homeowners

• Ability to work independently, manage assigned service calls, and complete repairs efficiently

• Willingness to participate in a rotating Saturday on-call schedule

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and safely perform work at heights

• Commitment to quality workmanship, safe work practices, and continued technical development
