ILS Caregiver

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our Independent Living Skills  (ILS) team. As an ILS Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, maintain their well-being, and achieve greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support based on each client's needs and goals.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care when necessary.
• Teach and encourage independent living skills.
• Support meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines.
• Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and community activities.
• Promote self-confidence, decision-making, and independence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Monitor progress and communicate important updates to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

• Patient, dependable, compassionate, and responsible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
• Willingness to learn and support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Previous caregiving or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Current vehicle registration and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required Live Scan fingerprinting and background clearance.
