About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences across LOTUS dinner and lounge service and OASIS brunch, cabana, and evening service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a vibrant, upscale hospitality environment, takes pride in anticipating guest needs, and enjoys creating memorable experiences through attentive, personalized service.

At LOTUS, you will guide guests through a unique Japanese-American dining experience featuring sushi, signature cocktails, and an energetic atmosphere that transitions from dinner into late-night lounge entertainment. At OASIS, you will provide warm, engaging service in a Moroccan-inspired poolside setting, supporting everything from leisurely Sunday brunch and private cabana experiences to sunset cocktails and evening entertainment.

Working closely with the House Manager, Beverage Lead, bartenders, and culinary team, you will ensure seamless food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $20–$24 per hour + gratuity

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

Warmly welcome guests, introduce menus, and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and cocktail offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings.

Guide guests through the LOTUS9 dining experience, confidently explaining menu selections, sushi offerings, signature cocktails, and the Omakase experience when appropriate.

Deliver exceptional poolside hospitality at OASIS, including brunch, cabana, cocktail, and evening lounge service.

Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and ensure a seamless experience from arrival through departure.

Adapt service style to the atmosphere and pace of each venue, transitioning effortlessly between refined dining, relaxed poolside hospitality, and energetic evening entertainment.

Address guest concerns professionally and involve management when additional assistance is needed.

Food & Beverage Service

Accurately take food and beverage orders, communicate special requests, and enter orders into the POS system.

Coordinate closely with bartenders, food runners, and culinary team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders.

Serve food and beverages according to established presentation, timing, and hospitality standards.

Maintain awareness of table progression, pacing courses appropriately and ensuring guests receive attentive service without unnecessary interruptions.

Support OASIS cabana service by maintaining consistent guest engagement, replenishing beverages, and ensuring food and beverage needs are met throughout the experience.

Confidently recommend menu items, specialty cocktails, premium beverages, and additional offerings to enhance the guest experience.

Monitor food quality, presentation, and order accuracy, promptly addressing any discrepancies.

Process guest payments accurately, manage open tabs, and follow established billing and gratuity procedures.

Service Preparation & Operations

Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties to ensure all service areas are prepared and maintained to established standards.

Set and maintain dining tables, lounge seating, cabanas, and service stations with appropriate supplies and presentation.

Ensure service stations remain stocked with glassware, silverware, napkins, menus, and other necessary supplies.

Maintain clean, organized, and inviting dining and lounge areas throughout service.

Assist with clearing, resetting, and preparing tables and seating areas to support efficient guest turnover.

Participate in pre-shift briefings to review reservations, special events, menu updates, VIP guests, and daily service expectations.

Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth transitions between LOTUS dinner, lounge service, and OASIS daytime and evening operations.

Support private events, special experiences, and high-volume service periods as needed.

Responsible Service & Safety

Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures, including checking identification and monitoring guest consumption.

Demonstrate knowledge of menu ingredients, common allergens, and dietary accommodations, communicating special requests clearly to the culinary team.

Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Maintain safe, clean, and organized service areas, including indoor dining spaces, outdoor lounges, and poolside environments.

Promptly report guest concerns, accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues to management.

Uphold all company policies, service standards, and expectations for professional appearance and conduct.

What You Bring

Previous bartending experience in a busy restaurant, hotel, cocktail lounge or poolside venue.

Confident cocktail technique, accurate measuring and a good working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and alcohol-free beverages.

Experience with POS systems, cash handling, bar preparation, stock rotation and inventory procedures.

Sound knowledge of responsible alcohol service and sanitation practices.

An attentive, welcoming manner, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining quality.

Availability for evening, weekend and holiday service, including late Friday and Saturday closing shifts and Sunday service at OASIS.

Ability to stand and move for extended periods, work indoors and outdoors, bend, reach, and lift or carry bar supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as needed.

Your Workweek

The proposed launch schedule is four working days, Thursday through Sunday, totaling approximately 30–35 hours per week, with Monday through Wednesday off.

Thursday through Saturday will cover LOTUS dinner and lounge service, including late Friday and Saturday closing shifts. Sunday will cover either OASIS brunch and cabana service or the sunset and evening bar, with a handover between shifts.

Opening and late coverage will rotate within the bar team. Beverage service continues during lounge hours after the kitchens close. The Beverage Lead will coordinate daily start and finish times, breaks and coverage with the House Manager and OASIS Lead. All preparation, required briefings, training, cleaning and bar shutdown duties are included in working hours.

LOTUS is a Japanese-American restaurant and cocktail lounge where sushi, signature cocktails and a curated listening program shape the evening. Its six-seat Omakase bar offers a coursed tasting dinner by reservation, with a scripted service ritual, brief chef introductions and selected musical features.

OASIS is a Moroccan-inspired poolside destination for Sunday brunch, private cabanas and cocktails. Casablanca Hour bridges daytime service and the Sunset Lounge, where DJs and live percussion carry the evening.
