About the Opportunity 
We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to support construction project execution through Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination, documentation, and on-site collaboration. Unlike traditional coordination roles focused primarily on preparing construction documents, this position requires active involvement in the project to help ensure that information represented in BIM documents is accurately executed in the field. 

The BIM Coordinator will prepare the corresponding BIM coordination reports (BCPs) while working closely with the construction team to support efficient project execution. The successful candidate must understand assigned projects, maintain priorities, contribute ideas, communicate effectively, and help improve overall project constructability. 

What You’ll Do 

• Follow established BIM guidelines. 
• Keep the project’s BIM activity schedule up to date. 
• Work closely with the BIM Manager, architects, engineers, project managers, superintendents, contractors, construction teams, and other specialists. 
• Organize and actively participate in BIM MEP coordination meetings and updates. 
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders when invited, provided the meetings relate to activities within the MEP environment. 
• Identify conflicts and prepare reports on them (BCPs) to help the project manager prepare Requests for Information (RFIs). 
• Propose solutions and discuss them with the relevant professionals and specialists. 
• Prepare the corresponding BCP reports once solutions have been identified. 
• Participate in the joint effort of the construction team to help execute projects as efficiently as possible. 
• Study, become familiar with, and fully understand assigned projects. 
• Keep project priorities in mind, contribute ideas, and communicate viewpoints to support project constructability. 

• Willingness to listen to and accept ideas from others to help improve work efficiency. 
• Ability to organize activities and maintain progress according to a pre-established project schedule. 
• Knowledge of architectural design, structural design and construction, MEP systems, and other specialties. 
• Ability to understand technical documents and reports. 
• Confidence in making decisions and assuming responsibilities. 
• Strong knowledge of software, programs, and applications used to develop accurate BIM models. 
• Solid knowledge of and proficiency in modeling across various disciplines. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills when working with all project stakeholders. 
• Proactive approach to identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems quickly and effectively. 
• Ability to learn from completed work and apply that knowledge to future projects. 
• Knowledge of geolocation, coordinate systems, and GIS. 

• Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Forma Collaborate. 
• Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Microsoft Publisher. 
• Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and/or other PDF processing software. 
• Adobe Photoshop and/or other image processing software. 
• Google Earth Pro and Studio. 

• Autodesk Civil 3D, MEP, Recap, and 3D Studio Max. 
• Graphisoft ArchiCAD. 
• Bentley AECOsim Building Designer.
